The main problem people face when confronted with the challenge to lose weight is twofold; it is how to lose weight and keep it off. 1) Combine exercise with your diet plan.  Don’t rely solely on dieting or exercise to achieve your weight loss goals but view them both as two powerful tools for your success.  Exercise must be regular, at least three times a week in order to reap the benefit.  Learn to love exercise it is good for the body and the mind.  If you don’t like the vigorous type of exercises such as jogging, cycling or aerobics begin a daily walk for 20-30 minutes. Walking not only helps to keep you in trim but it has a beneficial effect on your mind and it’s a good way to begin and end your day.

As part of your diet plan you should incorporate lots of fruit of various colours as each colour has a different antioxidant which is said to be good for preventing various types of disease. This is easier said than done but you must do it if you want to lose weight and keep it off.  If you don’t want to go out and take a walk do some jogging on the spot, try some press ups or sit ups, you can even do this in front of the TV. It is said that bad habits are hard to break and good ones are hard to make but it is necessary and you will always feel better after a workout.  Don’t wait to start tomorrow, begin a small change today because every little bit counts.  You will find that a small change each day amounts to you changing your whole life eventually.
