This burning of body fat would continue even 24 hours after exercises. After some time the body decides to give away with storing fat. The body will not need to store fat anymore as it will not be of any use. Usually the body starts to burn the stored fat after about 15-20 minutes of workout. With short duration exercises it has no time to start burning stored fat. This is known as the “After Burner Effect” and real fat loss begins here.

Low intense, long duration exercises such as cardio and aerobics are counter productive as your brain sends a signal to your body to make and store more fat to counter the loss of stored fat during the long duration exercises.

I Drank Ice Cold Water- Whenever possible I drank iced cold water. This allows our body to burn approximately 62 calories a day to bring the temperature of the water to our body temperature.
