I am so low on my self confidence and try as much as possible to avoid social gatherings, as my bulging out ugly fat makes me feel self conscious of my body and I cannot get on with my peers. I Did High Intense, Short Duration Exercises- I would sprint for about 4-5 minutes as fast as possible and rest for the next 4-5 minutes. 5 rounds like this, was what I did for the whole day and 3 times a week.
New research has shown that high intense, short duration exercises are capable of burning carbs in our muscles. The body will burn the stored fat to replace the carbs in the muscles. This burning of body fat would continue even 24 hours after exercises. After some time the body decides to give away with storing fat. The body will not need to store fat anymore as it will not be of any use. Usually the body starts to burn the stored fat after about 15-20 minutes of workout. With short duration exercises it has no time to start burning stored fat. This is known as the “After Burner Effect” and real fat loss begins here.
Low intense, long duration exercises such as cardio and aerobics are counter productive as your brain sends a signal to your body to make and store more fat to counter the loss of stored fat during the long duration exercises.
I Drank Ice Cold Water- Whenever possible I drank iced cold water. This allows our body to burn approximately 62 calories a day to bring the temperature of the water to our body temperature.
